In my work , I use stones and candles. Stones represent obstruction of daily life , and candles represent the hope. I show my performance to audiences, and they give me some feedback. The most significant feedback is that why I am not use many stones. For this , I need to talk about why I am not use many stones.

At beginning of this semester, I just use stones to show people’s body in earthquake, and connect the pressure of stones to explore how people can move their body and how they feeling and how can stimulate physical movements. During this process, I find that as long as the pressure from the outside, it can switch the body movements, just like I hit person’s hands, his hands will make some physical movement. I mean that no matter what happen, if people’s body suffer from a high pressure of  environment, it will change the body’s figure. Environmental stimulation plays a significant role in physical movements. After that, I find that my work must have a theme and the physical movements are serve for the work’ theme. So, I connect the personality with my work. I think about whether should I use many stones for my work. But finally, I think that I don’t want use many stones mainly because I want to emphasize the candles(the hope) and make audiences see clearly why I want to  movement , and partly because it can highlight the theme of work. Why I move follow the candles ?   Because I want find the hope, I want to break my willpower. Stone in my works plays a supporting function, it contributes me to restore the site environment and let the audience easy to understand and highlight the theme of work.
